Overview

Med Star Medical Group Anesthesiology, one of the largest anesthesia groups in the DMV/Mid-Atlantic region, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist at Med Star Franklin Square Medical Center, a 380-bed academic, community-based hospital located in eastern Baltimore County. It is one of the largest community teaching hospitals with the busiest ED in Maryland and third in terms of volumes across Med Star Health.

This position offers a combination of medical direction and performing solo MD/DO cases. Diverse cases include L&D, GYN, ortho, neuro, general, vascular, endoscopy, GI, pain, thoracic, and robotics. Med Star Franklin Square is a Robotic Surgery Center of Excellence, with a two-story surgical pavilion supporting innovations and advanced imaging. No hearts, but there are opportunities for cross-coverage and additional OB; call and non-call positions are available.

Regional experience is highly preferred. Opportunity may include cross-coverage to Med Star Harbor Hospital in downtown Baltimore as part of regular hours.

• Provide a combination of medical direction and solo MD/DO anesthesia care.
• Manage a diverse case mix including L&D, GYN, orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, vascular, endoscopy, GI, pain management, thoracic, and robotics.
• Participate in call and non-call coverage as needed.
• Potential cross-coverage to Med Star Harbor Hospital as part of regular hours.
