Dental Hygienist

Charles Street Dental is offering an opportunity for a Part Time Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative dental team in Baltimore, Maryland. Flexible schedule 2‑3 days per week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm. Monday required. Up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr

• Review patients’ medical and dental history.
• Take high‑quality X‑rays and train for high‑resolution digital imaging.
• Educate patients about oral health and oral‑systemic connections.
• Document areas of existing restorations and identify potential concerns.
• Administer prophylactic treatments, periodontal scaling, and antimicrobial agents.
• Conduct oral cancer, saliva, caries risk screenings and recommend treatments.
• Train and become proficient with digital scanning, diagnostic, periodontal therapies, and technologies.
• Collaborate with medical and dental providers for patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, insurance, and payment collection.
• Assist business team with hygiene schedule management and accountability.
• Maintain positive rapport with patients and team members.

• Active Maryland Hygienist license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certifications.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.
• Minimum 1 year of RDH clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of dental health for patient education.
• Willingness and ability to learn therapy treatments through practice training.
