About the Company and Overview of the Housing Associate Role:

- Our client, a respected organization dedicated to helping low-income individuals and families access affordable housing, is seeking Housing Associates for upcoming openings. This is a great opportunity for someone who is patient, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent customer service
- The Housing Associate position will begin immediately for the selected candidate(s) on a contractual basis for approximately 2 months
- Position is 100% in office in Baltimore, MD.
- Candidates must be able to commute to Baltimore city on a daily basis and have reliable transportation
- Schedule:
8am-5pm M-F 40 hour work week - Salary: $45,000-$52,000 depending on experience
- Answer incoming calls and emails, route them to the correct person, and assist customers kindly and professionally
- Audit existing information and documents to ensure all information is accurate

- Work with the Housing Choice Voucher Program to assist clients and ensure compliance with program requirements
- Ad hoc projects as needed
Ideal Candidate for the Housing Associate role:
- Must possess strong customer service skills
- Comfortable learning new computer systems and tech savvy
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and problem solving skills
- Able to be maintain strict confidentiality
- Must be able to deliver a high level of empathy and professionalism with client issues
Qualifications for the Housing Associate:
- Data entry, office, and customer service experience required
- Previous housing and/or non profit experience a huge plus
- Basic Excel skills required
