Energy Efficiency Customer Care Agent

Job Description

Our client, a leader in utility energy efficiency programs, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Care Agent to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support commercial and residential energy programs while providing excellent service to program participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process energy incentive applications, reviewing for eligibility.
  • Provide inbound and outbound support to applicants and program participants via phone and online chat.
  • Perform back-office processing in support of utility clients and their customers.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and quality standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and customer information.
  • Perform data-intensive tasks accurately while meeting deadlines.
  • Adapt quickly to process changes and contribute to team problem-solving efforts.
Qualifications & Skills Required
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail; ability to type 45–50 WPM.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm for helping program participants.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excel and database navigation skills are required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in application processing, customer service, and a fast‑paced environment.
