Part-Time Front Desk Attendant

Location:

Abundant Life Towers I & II – Baltimore, MD

Hourly Rate: $16.00/hour

Schedule
  • Saturday and Sunday, 4:30 pm – 12:30 am
  • Must be available to work at both Abundant Life Towers I & II as needed, including holidays.
Key Responsibilities
  • Acts as first point of contact for residents and visitors, allowing them into the building.
  • Assists guests with signing in and out of the building, including verifying identification.
  • Creates and fosters a welcoming environment for all residents and guests.
  • Interacts with residents, developing a quick understanding of their needs and taking action to promote a positive response.
  • Answers telephone and responds to routine inquiries; directs calls as appropriate.
  • Maintains a detailed log of events in the building, service calls, concerns for the office, and resident activities.
  • Takes emergency after‑hour service calls and contacts maintenance staff to ensure residents’ concerns are addressed.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of building entrance, common areas, and desk area.
  • Provides backup as needed to other team members, including occasional tours of the premises.
  • Provides a safe environment by identifying violations, unusual behavior, or hazards.
  • Models the company’s core values for clients and other associates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, within reason and relevance to the job.
  • Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
  • Ability to manage priorities and multi‑task.
  • Ability to engage others and cultivate positive relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication, observation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Professional, calm, and attentive demeanor at all times.
