Who We Are
Specialty Underwater Services, a marine construction and diving contractor affiliated with Brayman Construction Company, is offering a paid 14‑week summer internship for students interested in gaining practical experience in construction and project operations. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals in both office and project site environments to develop technical and professional skills.

Interns will support construction and project management activities and gain exposure to day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities- Assisting with coordination of projects and activities
- Preparing reports and documentation
- Supporting cost tracking and estimate preparation
- Reviewing blueprints, proposals, and labor information
- Following established safety procedures and standards
- Assisting with general project support tasks as assigned
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
- Comfortable working in both office and construction environments
- Basic understanding of blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to team objectives
- Ability to travel as needed (per diem/lodging provided according to company policy)
Brayman Construction Company affiliate Specialty Underwater Services is a marine construction and diving contractor operating in Baltimore, MD and Pittsburgh, PA. The company performs construction, maintenance, repair, and inspection services across multiple industries and supports projects throughout the Eastern United States.
SafetyThis is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. The position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. It may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis.
ConfidentialitySome positions with the company will have access to confidential and proprietary information. Successful candidates for those positions will be required to sign the company’s standard confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment.
