Estimator​/Project Manager

EASE Painting and Construction is an industrial coatings contractor in the Baltimore area that performs work throughout the United States and overseas. Our projects range from abrasive blasting a ship's underwater hull, to applying intumescent paint to structural steel, to installing a coating system in a potable water tank. Most of the EASE’s work is contracting with government agencies, and any government contracting experience is a tremendous asset for any prospective candidate.

EASE is currently looking for a unique candidate who can take a project from the solicitation to an estimate, to a bid proposal and if awarded, can manage the project from start to finish. The candidate should be very organized and self-motivated. Knowledge of the paint and coatings industry is a plus but is NOT a prerequisite. A basic knowledge of construction projects is helpful but is also not a requirement.

Estimators and Project Managers may be required to visit job sites to obtain information for estimating or check on the progress of a job.

The candidate should have good written and oral communication skills. They should be proficient at Excel and have strong overall computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Sharepoint, MIcrosoft Teams, and other office software is essential to effectively do this job. Overall, we are looking for smart people with integrity and a "can do" attitude. We are a small company so working well with others and working as a team is mission critical.
