Per Se is working with a leading regional mechanical contractor that is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee the plumbing and piping of large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. There are multiple hires needed within the DC area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure and document the materials and workmanship on the project meet the level of quality required by the contract documents
• Prevent the construction of deficient work or the building on deficient work
• Have open and direct communication with Corporate QA Manager for any and all project concerns
• Ensure that the construction documents are complete, code-compliant and constructible
• Review Submittals for contract compliance
• Perform daily quality audits of ongoing and completed installations
• Assist Project Superintendent with Weekly QC Meetings and reports
• Manage testing and inspections and maintain testing schedule
• Oversee the start-up, TAB and commissioning of equipment and systems

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of quality control construction experience
• Mechanical construction experience (Piping and Plumbing) preferred
• Large-scale commercial and/or industrial project experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• OSHA 30 certification required

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Specific benefits details will be shared with candidates during the interview process or upon an offer of employment.
