Purpose of Role

The Lead, Global Brand Events is a dynamic and detail oriented leader responsible for driving the strategic planning, creative development, and flawless execution of Under Armour’s global brand, experiential, and internal corporate events. This role oversees the full event lifecycle, including logistics coordination, vendor and agency management, on site operations, and post event reconciliation, ensuring every experience reflects UA’s high standards and delivers exceptional outcomes for athletes, consumers, and internal stakeholders.

The Lead partners closely with cross functional teams and key external partners to bring innovative brand moments to life and plays a critical role in amplifying the Under Armour brand on a global scale. This position also oversees the Zuddl event management platform, supporting registration, check in, data capture, and microsite experiences. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, organizational excellence, adaptability, and a customer first mindset in a fast paced environment.

Impact
  • Direct and manage event development from beginning to end (define project scope, goals, KPI’s, pre‑planning, design, conceptualization, execution, budget management and recaps).
  • Include but not limited to scheduling meetings/site visits, developing workback calendars, event master docs, presentations, event recaps, budget trackers, contracts, and hotel accommodations, shipping and fulfillment of materials.
  • Develop creative event concepts and immersive experiences that differentiate our Brand from others.
  • Include but is not limited to: UA NEXT Platform (grassroots) & Collegiate Categories, Global Summits, Global Celebrations (Armour Day, Holiday Party, TRG initiatives etc.), media activations, etc.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to execute events to the highest level.
  • Be a liaison with our account team at Zuddl (event management tool).
  • Track and measure success through post‑event reporting, guest engagement, ROI, and KPI’s.
  • Oversee agency management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience OR typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills.
  • Comfortable negotiating with and managing multiple vendors/suppliers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact with all levels of employees, customers, and C‑Level executives while maintaining professionalism both via phone and email.
  • Must be able to work equally efficiently in an office, convention/conference center, hotel, and a variety of social event locations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

    This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in‑office per week.
