Job Title:

Business Analyst III

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

Provide data analysis and reporting in support of Centrally Managed Projects and Programs within Technical Services Division.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop analysis and reporting tools to support program and project managers.
• Track work orders and material requests for programs and projects that are worked within the Asset Suite 8 Work Management System.
• Develop tools to assist Project Managers to proactively track work order requests through Asset Suite 8, and to identify potential issues early and recommend solutions.
• Assist Project Managers in entering work orders and/or material requests, follow the work order through to completion and close out.
• May participate on a team establishing a new, or improving an existing program, process, or project.
• Requires an understanding and application of fundamental data management and reporting, and work management systems.
• Demonstrates ability to work both independently and in a team environment; demonstrates initiative to complete work in a timely manner adhering to deadlines, and within Utilities processes and procedures.

Job Specifications:

• Knowledge of Asset Suite Work Management System, and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Hyperion reporting and data analysis.
• Basic understanding of project management principles, planning, tracking, and cost control techniques.
• Understands and is responsible for complying with FERC Standards of Conduct requirements and applicable NERC and RFC reliability standards.

Skills/Abilities:

• Thorough knowledge of Hyperion and Asset Suite 8 Work Management System.
• Ability to analyze data and recommend proactive solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to use personal computers.
• May require valid driver’s license, ability to meet Company driving standards and ability to use personal vehicle for Company business.

Education/

Experience:

• Experience with Project Management in the Utility Industry is a plus
• Data Management and Analysis
