Position Overview
Working as a member of the Process Improvement team under the general supervision of the Global Delivery PI Lead, the primary purpose of this role is to act as a business partner to provide direction and functional expertise to establish and execute a data‑driven approach to continuous improvement. The role delivers medium to large-scale savings projects and creates a world‑class high‑performance organization.
The Process Improvement Business Partner drives efficiency improvements within the assigned process domain (within GBS & Enterprise) by developing a process standardization strategy and leading process improvement projects/programs in alignment with methodologies such as process deep dive lifecycle, RCA, Lean Six Sigma, and related industry best practices. It also includes identifying opportunities for automation, digitalization, and process discipline. The geographic scope is global.
- Operational excellence to drive efficiency improvements within the assigned process domain. In collaboration with business leaders, develop and execute a data‑driven approach to continuous improvement with impactful measures and dashboards that unlock ongoing operational efficiency.
- Provide coaching and subject matter expertise to support the development of process improvement and standardization strategy for supported functions.
- Provide structure and governance to ensure flawless execution and achievement of hard target results. Perform business process analysis using process mining tools to map processes, identify variants and bottlenecks.
- Leverage data analytics and lean techniques to identify patterns, trends, and root causes of process issues to inform decisions and improve operational performance.
- Support delivery of organizational capability and effectiveness plans aligned with digital transformation; identify digitalization and automation opportunities within the supported business unit.
- Manage projects/programs and lead strategic process improvement and automation initiatives to drive cost improvement.
- Collaborate across functions and regions to understand end‑to‑end processes and data architectures, identify inefficiencies and opportunities for standardization; develop rolling opportunities pipeline.
- Lead the Customer Centricity program to streamline processes across dedicated business units for continuity, effectiveness, and efficiencies.
- Deliver PI scorecard and reporting for the supported function (e.g., savings, time savings, process standardization, automation maturity, risk reduction) and monitor effectiveness of enhancements.
- Engage in global business networking and Process Discipline awareness; support the global rollout of process mining technology; align with automation counterparts and operate as part of a unified automation methodology globally.
- Deliver business training to raise organizational awareness about process improvement and customer centricity capabilities; build strong partnerships within GBS, McCormick, and the external process improvement community.
