Drive the strategic direction for financial clearance and patient accounting, ensuring consistent, patient‑centered processes across the Johns Hopkins Medicine system.

• Lead the financial clearance function, setting goals and objectives that align with the organization’s mission and vision.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and financial partners to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert analysis, coaching, and decision support to address complex business issues.
• Champion continuous process improvement initiatives and drive key performance metrics.
• Represent Johns Hopkins Medicine in external payer and partner meetings to advocate for patient experience and financial performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Administration, or related field.
• Minimum seven years of progressive financial experience in a hospital or health system, including patient accounting and financial clearance.
• Minimum four years of direct management experience.
• Proven leadership in a complex hospital environment, with deep knowledge of patient accounting applications and payer standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with third‑party payer requirements and hospital management principles.

Minimum $37.87 / hour – Maximum $66.28 / hour.
