Philly's Best Steak Company Inc. is a leading family-owned meat processing facility in the Philadelphia area, specializing in high-quality Philly-style steak products. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will promote, generate leads, acquire customers, manage distribution, and drive profitability in your assigned region. Working closely with our nationally recognized broker, you will market and sell our product line while expanding our brand presence.

Salary Range: Reimbursed Expenses

Schedule: Monday – Friday (with occasional additional hours)

Sales and Business Development
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales and distribution targets within your assigned region.
  • Identify new business opportunities, establish new accounts, and nurture existing client relationships to promote Philly’s Best brand growth.
  • Maintain an active regional sales pipeline, document progress in the CRM system, and update opportunity stages weekly to ensure visibility of all pursuits and upcoming volume.
  • Drive growth across all core PBS channels, including broadline distributor food service, multi‑unit commercial chains, non‑commercial segments, contract management companies, NACUFS, military programs and co‑pack/industrial.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective promotional strategies and product campaigns.
  • Conduct annual and quarterly product training.
  • Assist in negotiating yearly and quarterly marketing programs with distributor.
  • Develop and manage a detailed lead database while continually seeking new customers to generate business.
  • Support Senior Regional Sales Manager – National Accounts with Restaurant Depot locations in your assigned region.
Broker Management
  • Recruit, train, and manage a network of brokers within the region to ensure comprehensive coverage and maximization of sales efforts.
  • Provide clear direction, expectations, and ongoing support to brokers, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Monitor broker performance, provide timely feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Maintain a well‑stocked sample availability at broker offices.
  • Complete the required Broker Activity Reports for each CORE office in the territory and review quarterly performance against budgeted goals, KPIs, and action plans.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with broker leadership, addressing gaps versus plan and updating territory‑level strategies as needed.
  • Ensure brokers adhere to sample usage guidelines, maintain sufficient sample inventory, and follow established reporting and documentation expectations.
Market Analysis
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to adapt strategies and refine product positioning for optimal market penetration.
  • Utilize category management insights and competitive data to support operator menu recommendations, fact‑based selling, and new product development opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with key clients, distributors, and brokers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and timely.
  • Manage relationships with regional and national chain operators.
  • Lead major customer presentations, product cuttings, menu ideation sessions, and quarterly business reviews for key operators and distributors.
  • Develop comprehensive regional plans outlining sales objectives, target accounts, and strategic approaches for achieving goals.
  • Monitor progress against regional plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Identify risks to forecast attainment early and implement corrective action plans, adjusting quarterly account strategies to ensure achievement of annual budget.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual volume forecasts for the assigned region, ensuring accuracy, timely updates, and alignment with company goals.
