Position Responsibilities- Lead the Procurement Staff for Black Sea.
- Act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier‑related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Manage Procurement Team in their performance of activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Ensure compliance with MAPC Procurement Manual to meet CPSR requirements.
- Teach and mentor Procurement team to MAPC Procurement requirements.
- Set workload priorities for the Procurement team.
- Manage, develop, and motivate team members.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)- 3+ years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
- 3+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong ongoing communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors.
- Experience leading a team or program preferred but not required.
- Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- Had to have led a Procurement team through at least one successful CPSR audit by DCMA preferred, but not required.
- More than 5 years of experience working in a CPSR compliant environment.
- Strong supplier negotiation skills.
- More than 1 year of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross‑functional or cross‑business unit teams.
- 3+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
Education/experience typically acquired through business and financial education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience.
