Strategic Talent Acquisition Leader | Building High-Performance Teams at CBRE About the RoleThe Business Unit Sales Coordinator (BUSC) is a dynamic, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of sales and operations. Acting as the “glue” for the Business Unit, you’ll work in synergy with the Business Unit Director (BUD), Business Development Manager (BDM), and Bid Manager to keep the sales process moving and support operational excellence.
This role is 80% sales-focused and 20% operations support, making it an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure across the business, hands‑on involvement in client strategy, and a clear path for growth in a dynamic career in Facilities Management. Many BUSCs progress into roles such as Bid Manager or Sales Executive.
What You’ll DoYou will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by setting priorities and clear expectations for the team, including:
- Contribute to new client pursuit development through marketing collateral, events, and networking
- Keep the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on track and enforce governance checkpoints
- Research prospective clients and prepare discovery reports
- Participate in the development of custom solutions and proposals for potential clients
- Contribute to win theme development and proposal writing
- Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and site visits
- Communicate team initiatives and pursuit updates to all levels of leadership
- Develop case studies, account profiles, and maintain BU knowledge library
- Support Proposal and Client-Facing Responses: plan, outline responses, draft content, collect input, and review
- Liaise with designers for proposal artwork and presentation materials
- Coordinate and track pipeline efforts and reporting within Salesforce
- Operations Support
- Assist with meeting coordination, training, and BU documentation
- Support account transitions and monthly reviews
- Develop presentations and account collateral
- Help streamline processes to improve BU efficiency
