We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Business Development Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a key role in the strategic growth of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role will require you to leverage your sales skills, construction industry knowledge, and strategic thinking to develop and implement sales strategies, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and increase market share.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote our brand.
  • Continually upgrade knowledge and skills to adapt to changing market conditions and competitive dynamics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development or sales role in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and key players.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and deal‑closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
