The Butterfly Effect (TBE) is seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to support the Founder & Principal Consultant in managing daily operations, communications, and project execution across multiple initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes—keeping calendars tight, inboxes clear, tasks moving, and leadership focused. You’ll be a true right hand, helping translate priorities into action and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
This is a part-time, remote, independent contractor (1099) role with flexible scheduling and clear deliverables.
What You’ll Do Executive & Administrative Support- Manage a dynamic calendar and scheduling across multiple Google accounts
- Monitor and manage email correspondence, draft responses, and flag priorities
- Send follow‑up emails, confirmations, and task‑related communications on behalf of leadership
- Manage Click Up plans, tasks, and timelines across multiple projects
- Keep projects moving by tracking deadlines, dependencies, and next steps
- Provide daily or every‑other‑day written summaries of project status, priorities, and outstanding items
- Maintain organized digital files, documents, and contact lists
- Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and document action items
- Ensure consistent follow‑through on internal and external commitments
- Act as a point of coordination for delegated stakeholders and collaborators
- Support light reporting, documentation, and administrative tracking as needed
- Based in Maryland, Baltimore, MD preferred
- Experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Assistant, Project Coordinator, or similar role
- Strong written communication skills and excellent judgment
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Experience with Click Up (or similar tools like Asana, Notion, Monday) strongly preferred
- Responsive, proactive, and able to work with minimal hand‑holding
- Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
- Compensation: Negotiable
- Time Commitment: Approximately 10–20 hours/month
