Introduction
The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) provides support to state agencies, the Executive Office of the Governor, the Governor’s coordinating offices, and a variety of independent agencies within the Executive Branch. This position will be responsible for leading projects, under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager. This role will apply established business processes to project management activities. This position will plan, execute, and deliver on OED projects, ensuring that projects are documented effectively in support of completing them on time, within budget, and to the required standards. This position will work with stakeholders to define project scope and provide a regular cadence of reporting to communicate progress and mitigate blockers.
The candidate must possess the ability to handle administrative tasks, communicate effectively, maintain documentation, and coordinate project activities essential for project success.

- Project Coordination:
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. - Administrative Tasks:
Handle a variety of administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, organizing project resources, assisting with relevant procurements, maintaining project timelines, ensuring compliance with budgetary requirements, and preparing reports for keeping multiple, simultaneous projects organized and on track. - Communication:
Serve as a liaison between the project team members, and other stakeholders and facilitate communication by disseminating information, organizing meetings, and ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and status reports. This documentation will be used to track progress, identify issues, and make informed decisions.

Minimum QualificationsEducation:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience:
Six years of administrative staff or professional work.
