Overview
Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients.
Responsibilities- Generate and send invoices to clients promptly.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and transactions.
- Prepare financial reports related to accounts receivable.
- Assist in month-end closing activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
