Property Accounting Manager

Overview

Responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, supporting budgets and forecasts, overseeing cash management, and leading accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close.
• Produce P&L, Balance Sheet, and other financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Oversee accounting for properties, projects, and acquisitions.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
• Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience (real estate or construction preferred).
• Strong software skills, especially Excel and accounting platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
