AP Coordinator

Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and maintaining vendor relationships.

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and appropriate documentation
• Manage vendor accounts, including communication and reconciliation
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions
• Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Coordinator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
• High level of integrity and confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles
