Tax Staff - Corporate

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Tax Staff for a well-established company in the Greater Baltimore area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 0-2 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative environment. My client is unable to sponsor at this time, and you must be willing to work in the greater Baltimore area 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare work papers for federal, state, and local income tax returns

+ Assist with consolidated and separate income tax filings

+ Support quarterly and year-end tax provision analysis

+ Develop tax forecasts based on budgets and projections

+ Research tax positions and assist with audits

+ Stay current on tax legislation

+ Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

+ 0-2 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax

+ CPA preferred; MST a plus

+ Knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP principles

+ Strong Excel skills; familiarity with tax compliance software preferred

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
