This Accounting Clerk role exists to support continued growth and keep the flow of payables and deal paperwork moving smoothly in a high-volume environment. WhatYou’ll Do
- Process sales deal packets with accuracy and consistency.
- Match purchase orders, reconcile vendor statements, and post accounts payable invoices.
- Research discrepancies, follow the trail, and help drive resolution.
- Manage a high-volume workload—up to 500 invoices per week—without losing attention to detail.
- Support vendor maintenance and reconcile monthly invoices.
- Maintain files and documentation in accordance with GAAP.
- Pitch in across other accounting functions as needed to support the team.
- Detail-oriented by nature—you notice what others miss, especially with numbers.
- Comfortable moving fast, prioritizing well, and staying organized when the pace spikes.
- Solutions-minded: you take initiative and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Reliable and self-directed, with follow-through that doesn’t require constant oversight.
- Confident communicator who can work through issues with vendors and internal partners.
- Experience in a high-volume accounting or accounts payable environment.
- Ability to handle up to 500 invoices per week while maintaining accuracy.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with maintaining documentation accurately and in line with GAAP.
- Retail automotive experience is a plus.
