As a Tax Associate, you will become familiar with current tax theories and laws and perform procedures in accordance with firm standards, accurately, thoroughly, and timely.

Responsibilities:

• Work on a variety of client deliverables including preparation of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, and Corporate entities.
• Identify potential tax issues and prepare adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client-provided trial balances.
• Research filing requirements and tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regulations, and other relevant authorities/guidance.
• Manage daily client workflow and multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Draft tax technical memorandums.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours by September 2027 to be CPA licensed.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 in both major and overall.
• Leadership positions in extracurricular activities are preferred.
• Prior work or internship experience (accounting experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking.
• Comfortable navigating fast‑paced environments and embracing change.
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Salary for Maryland: $81,000, plus discretionary performance bonus, paid time off, parental benefits, and learning platforms.
