Senior Accountant

Overview

A high-growth, mission-driven company is hiring a Senior Accountant to join its core accounting team. This is a 100% remote role with broad exposure, real ownership, and the chance to work directly with exceptional leadership coming from top-tier public accounting backgrounds.

This role is ideal for someone who started their career in Big-4 public accounting and is now looking for a well-rounded, hands-on industry role where they can continue to grow, learn, and make an impact.

• Own key areas of the general ledger (cash, accruals, leases, equity, etc.)
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage the Procure-to-Pay process (contracts, invoices, approvals, payments)
• Administer bi-weekly payroll
• Support audits and internal controls (SOX)
• Help improve accounting processes and systems
• Partner cross-functionally in a deadline-driven environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of Big 4 and/or corporate accounting experience
• Strong GAAP and internal controls knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA preferred (not required)
• Net Suite, biotech/pharma, or startup experience is a plus

• Fully remote (no in-office requirements, no travel)
• Competitive comp: $115K–$130K base
