Director of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting
We are conducting a search for a newly created Director of Technical Accounting with a Dynamic Government Contracting Co. The Director will be responsible for providing technical accounting and reporting research and guidance for financial transactions, developing and monitoring compliance with this corporation’s accounting and reporting policies and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements, analyzing proposed accounting standards, and assisting in the development of the Corporation’s positions on emerging accounting and reporting matters.
Ideally looking for a CPA with 10+ years of Big 4 or Big 4/Corp. Mix with experience in: ASC 842, ASC 805, ASC 606, and ASC 360. This person should want to spread out into other areas in accounting as well.
Experience in Energy, Manufacturing, and Biotech environments is desirable.
