Production Supervisor - Fabrication

The Production Supervisor - Fabrication will lead day-to-day fabrication activity, ensuring work flows efficiently, weld quality remains to standard, staff are properly trained and jigs and fixtures are used effectively to deliver safe, accurate and consistent output.

• Supervise daily fabrication operations and support safe, efficient achievement of production targets.
• Plan, monitor and improve workflows to reduce downtime and maintain steady output.
• Maintain weld quality standards and ensure completed work meets company requirements.
• Inspect fabrication work and address issues relating to quality, fit-up, accuracy and consistency.
• Train, coach and support fabrication employees to build skills and improve performance.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members within the fabrication area.
• Oversee the correct setup, use and upkeep of jigs and fixtures to ensure repeatability and accuracy.
• Work closely with management and production teams to solve problems and support continuous improvement.
• Promote good housekeeping, equipment care and strong health and safety practices throughout the department.
• 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

• The ideal candidate will have fabrication or manufacturing experience, a strong understanding of welding quality, practical knowledge of production workflows and the ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment.
