The Role

An established and growing engineering company is looking for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join their mobile service team. The role is based from the West Midlands, with occasional further travel to support key contracts and project work.

This is a varied, hands–on role working across commercial, residential, hotel, and industrial environments, offering excellent technical exposure and long–term progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, fault–finding and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Reactive and planned maintenance works

• Occasional installation and commissioning

• Mobile engineer duties across the Midlands and North when required

• Diagnose system faults and carry out effective repairs

• Complete service reports and maintain compliance standards

• Work independently while liaising with supervisors and engineers

• Support national projects when required

Systems & Equipment

• HVAC systems

• Refrigeration systems

• Chilled water systems

• DX systems (VRV / VRF, splits, multi–splits)

• Commercial & industrial refrigeration (chillers, condensers, freezers)

• Gas–fired heating plant

• Boilers and water heaters

• Industrial plant and engineering environments (occasional)

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer

• Strong fault–finding and diagnostic skills

• Experience in commercial buildings, hotels or residential developments

• Comfortable working as a mobile engineer

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• F–Gas certification desirable

• Gas Safe registration desirable but not essential
