Grounds Maintenance Trainee

THE EMPLOYER IS: GALGORM HOTEL MANOR LTDThis is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, being outdoors, and learning new skills. As a Grounds Maintenance Trainee, you will support the Estates Team in keeping the Resort’s grounds, pathways, and outdoor areas clean, safe, and well-presented.

• Power washing outdoor surfaces, furniture, and walkways.
• Basic horticultural tasks such as leaf clearing, weeding, litter picking, and sweeping.
• Assisting with setting up and maintaining outdoor guest areas.
• Tidying and maintaining outdoor areas, gardens, pathways, and guest spaces.
• Skills and Development.
• Full on-the-job training from experienced Estates staff.
• Practical skills in grounds maintenance and outdoor facility care.

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Work well under pressure and be a team player.
• Communicate well within a team.
• Recent experience in a similar role.
