Technical Consultant - Data Migration

Eligibility

UK work authorisation required and able to work in N.Ireland

This is a hands-on technical consulting role focused on delivering complex data migrations into a modern cloud platform. You’ll own projects end to end, working closely with customers to understand their data, processes and requirements, and ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems.

• Take full ownership of large-scale migration projects
• Work directly with clients across the UK and internationally
• Solve complex data and financial migration challenges
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy and trust

• Leading data migrations from discovery through go-live
• Running business process and technical discovery sessions with clients
• Extracting, analysing and cleansing data from legacy systems
• Writing and testing SQL stored procedures to perform migrations
• Managing QA, data acceptance testing and post-go-live fixes
• Acting as the main technical point of contact for customers

• Strong SQL and database experience in a commercial environment
• Proven experience delivering data migrations or complex data work
• Confidence in a client-facing technical or consulting role
• Solid understanding of data quality, validation and business logic
