About the Facility
Braefield Court is a modern, purpose-built facility located in the picturesque village of Connor. Opened in November 2022, our seven-bedroom service has been thoughtfully designed with the needs of our residents at its core. We provide specialist support for adults living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Needs.
About the RoleThe Wellbeing Lead is responsible for providing a schedule of engaging pursuits that create a supportive environment where residents can thrive. The Activity Lead will manage the planning, organising and facilitation of recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in our Homes along with the Activity Co‑ordinator. They will work closely with the care team, families, residents, and external partners to develop and implement a wide range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents.
MainResponsibilities
- Prepare, plan, and deliver recreational and occupational activities.
- Ensure effective and timely record keeping.
- Contribute to surveys, audits and clinical research projects, assisting with the collection, analysis, and presentation of data.
- Observe and monitor the well‑being of residents.
- Supervision of staff.
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.

- To be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of English
- To be able to creatively plan activities to meet the needs of service users
- Previous experience related to the role

- Knowledge of external educational, vocational and leisure activity providers to expand the range of activities available
- Experience gained within an nursing home environment
