An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Mid and East Antrim Borough Council as a Tourism Advisor with Admin and Box Office Duties, based in Ballymena. This customer‑facing role will support the delivery of tourism services by providing high‑quality visitor information, administrative support and box office assistance, helping to promote the local area and deliver a positive experience for residents and visitors alike.
About the role:
£14.13 per hour Monday - Saturday
30 hours a week

- Provide customer service to visitors of the Visitor Information Centre within The Braid, Ballymena
- Dealing with visitor enquiries
- Actively promoting local and regional tourism
- A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C, including English and Maths
- 1 years' working experience dealing with the general public in a tourism environment
- 1 years' working experience cash handling and recording in a commercial environment
- 1 years' general administration experience
- A good general knowledge of the local area and its attractions
- A full current driving licence valid in the UK and access to a vehicle OR have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post
- Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis and ability to work additional hours as required
