We work on a wide variety of developments each with its own challenges and opportunities. No two days are the same. We’re now looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our growing team.

Key

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Coordinating external design consultants and specialist engineers
  • Aiding in the development and management of group house type drawings
  • Securing Building Control approvals and discharging planning conditions
  • Ensuring mains services and statutory approvals are procured in time
  • Issuing clear and accurate Construction Issue drawings for site starts
  • Managing and monitoring production information to agreed programmes and budgets
  • Supporting the preparation and presentation of Design Programmes at key meetings
  • Overseeing applications and approvals relating to Building Regulations
  • Attending site progress meetings and carrying out site inspections
  • Responding to technical queries from site teams and resolving issues efficiently
  • Monitoring professional fees and supporting cost control alongside the Commercial team
  • Assisting with brochure plans, conveyance plans and sales drawings
  • Liaising daily with internal departments and external partners
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any technical issues that may arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, circulating to the team on View Point and effectively communicating changes to the effected departments and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports for management and other stakeholders detailing project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Facilitate effective communication between various project teams, ensuring that information is conveyed accurately and promptly.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure project alignment.

About You
  • Experienced in residential construction project management or coordination.
  • Qualified in a construction related degree
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and construction industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Technically curious and eager to learn
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with different teams
  • Calm under pressure and able to meet deadlines
  • A proactive problem-solver
  • Knowledge of house and apartment construction
  • Understanding of Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Motivated to exceed customer expectations
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit or similar software
  • Previous exposure to volume house building
  • Experience with NHBC
  • Full and clean driving licence
