Ballymena Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Office-based Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnered with an established company based in Ballymena in the appointment of an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic team! The successful Accounts Administrator for managing and monitoring incoming payments, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and supporting the finance team in maintaining smooth operations.

If you have a background in accounts receivable, billing, or collections, and are skilled in payroll processing, this position offers a great opportunity to contribute to their growing company. Day-to-day of the role:
Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Handle weekly and monthly payroll processing. Monitor the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are received and properly recorded. Follow up with customers on overdue accounts and resolve billing/payment discrepancies. Reconcile customer accounts and prepare aging reports. Apply cash receipts to customer accounts in accounting systems. Communicate with customers to address billing questions and provide account statements when necessary.

Assist with month-end closing by providing accurate AR reports and schedules. Maintain organised records of all invoices, receipts, and correspondence. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve account-related issues. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections. Proven experience with payroll processing weekly and monthly. Proven experience with credit insurance and dealing with external stakeholders such as banks. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency with accounting software. Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
