Overview
Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Ballwin, MO 63011
Duration: 6 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Position SummaryClient Nurse Practitioners will work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care to a panel of patients. The clinical care team partners with the provider daily to drive better outcomes for the entire patient panel. Responsibilities include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role reports to the Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, review results, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients on lifestyle choices, wellness, chronic condition management, and preventive care.
- Encourage patient engagement in their healthcare through education, screenings, and support programs.
- Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification.
- Current State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure if required.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in a family medicine or primary care practice preferred.
- If less than 1 year, successful completion of Client’s Minute Clinic primary care training program is required.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare technology.
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a clinical care team culture.
- Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
