Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling - Ballston Spa, NY

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Estimate or assist residential construction insurance claim repair projects and manage them to completion.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Hands on residential construction experience (5-10 years), job management and comfort working with laptop computers and estimating software . We will train the successful applicant on the technologies we use. Candidates with less experience but who show promise might be considered.

This position has extensive interaction with customer and insurance account personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

* Professionally represent the PDR principles of honesty and integrity.

* Perform duties with a sense of purpose and urgency.

* Prepare estimate in a timely fashion (typically within 48-72 hours of the inspection or according to program requirements for specific losses/carriers).

* Negotiate and secure approved scope and price with insurer.

* Process necessary paperwork and maintain relationship with customer and insurer.

* Manage projects to completion and collect payments due the company.
