Tyre Officer

This position is responsible managing tire procurement, storage, inventory, and performance data, as well as collaborating with vendors to negotiate pricing and evaluate new technologies.

• Conduct routine inspections of tires to assess wear, damage, and pressure.
• Manage inventory of tires for all equipment.
• Manage the tyre inventory, including tracking usage, ordering new tyres, and maintaining records of tyre history.
• Maintain accurate records of tyre conditions, maintenance activities, and replacements.
• Monitor and analyze tire performance data, including lifespan and costs.
• Collaborate with tire vendors to negotiate pricing and evaluate new technologies.
• Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of tire specifications, maintenance practices, and inspection techniques.
• Proficiency in tire management software or CMMS. Knowledge of heavy equipment and vehicle tire requirements.
• Experience in cost analysis and budget management.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery related to tyre handling.
