Service Technician III – San Diego, CA

In‑N‑Out Burger is hiring a full‑time, experienced Maintenance Service Technician to cover our San Diego, CA market. The candidate must be HVAC certified and work under the Service department.

Candidate Requirements: Must live within 30‑mile radius of the service area.

• Maintenance and repair of all In‑Out Burger restaurant equipment – cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, doors, shelves, etc.
• Work independently with little or no supervision.
• Travel to the In‑Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies.
• Observe all safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of your work area.

• Full‑time position, hourly (non‑exempt).
• Schedule:
  
  Five (5) days a week, rotating schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Hours:
  
  7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; occasional on‑call availability required.
• Travel required (25 %); preferred if you live close to the San Diego area.
• Pay range: $34.00 – $38.15 per hour, based on experience and other job‑related factors.

• EPA certification and HVAC certification.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in refrigeration, air conditioning repair, and restaurant equipment repair.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Knowledge of high‑voltage AC power (3‑phase).
• Soda fountain and trade school experience is a plus.
• Strong experience as a maintenance tech on commercial jobs.
• Valid CA driver’s license; company vehicle provided.
