Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Assist guests and help solve their specific needs

• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll and use these features
• Process returns following policies; collaborate with leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Stock supplies during store hours while being available to assist guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services (OPU, Drive-Up Orders, DU Returns) and comply with relevant laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• You are open to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times

• Ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners

• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions
• Safely scan, handle, and move merchandise, lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Comfort with varying temperatures and elements in roles such as Drive-Up and carryout
