Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Inventory Planning & Analytics Manager to own enterprise-wide inventory strategy across a multi-brand, multi-channel global business. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable inventory decisions—balancing service levels, cash flow, margin protection, and supply risk.

This is a strategic role, not a warehouse or transactional inventory position. The ideal candidate lives in data, understands financial trade-offs, and partners closely with executive leadership, sales, operations, and sourcing teams to optimize inventory investment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and manage inventory strategies across finished goods, components, and in-transit inventory
  • Optimize inventory levels by SKU, category, and channel to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence
  • Own inventory KPIs including turns, weeks of supply, fill rate, service level, aging, and inventory-to-sales ratios

Demand Forecasting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain data-driven demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, customer programs, promotions, and market trends
  • Partner with Sales, Hospitality, and Retail teams to translate pipeline and forecast data into inventory plans
  • Identify demand risks and opportunities early and proactively adjust buying and production strategies
  • Analyze inventory investment, cash flow impact, and margin exposure
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and scenario analysis for leadership (best/worst case, upside/downside, tariff impact, freight volatility)
  • Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, and SKU rationalization initiatives

Supply Chain & Sourcing Collaboration

  • Partner with sourcing and operations teams on production planning, MOQs, lead times, and vendor performance
  • Model supply constraints, freight timelines, and regional sourcing strategies
  • Support transition planning for new sourcing regions and factory onboarding

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Improve forecasting accuracy and inventory planning processes through better data, tools, and automation
  • Work within ERP and BI systems to improve visibility, accuracy, and decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning, reporting, and inventory governance
Qualifications & Experience

Note: The original content lists the following requirements as part of the experience and skills. The section below preserves those items as the official qualifications.

Required

  • 10–12+ years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, supply chain analytics
  • Strong quantitative and analytical background with the ability to translate data into business decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership
  • Proven ability to manage large SKU counts and complex product portfolios
