Hours for this position will vary based on operational needs

Under the direction of the facilities and transportation director, and in association with the lead bus driver, drives a school bus over designated routes for the purpose of transporting students to and from school and/or school related activities; maintains student discipline on the bus; submits daily reports as required; cleans and washes buses; monitors fluids and lubricants on buses; and makes minor repairs.

Performs district maintenance and operation duties as designated by supervisor.

• Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
• First aid and CPR certification required

• Possession of the required California Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
• Possession of a School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by California Highway Patrol including passing a first aid examination.

• Copy of Driver's License
• Copy of Social Security Card
