Maintenance Low Voltage Technician

Overview

Join CML Security, LLC as a Maintenance Low Voltage Technician and apply your expertise to ensure secure and reliable detention systems.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical and electronic locking devices, including cylindrical locks, mortise, rim, motor or manually driven locks, and exit devices.
• Plan, install, service, and test mechanical and electronic locking systems and automatic key coding/cutting machines.
• Lay out detention equipment from construction documents and shop drawings, and handle and distribute construction materials such as doors, frames, glass, hardware, steel furniture, and steel assemblies.
• Make emergency repairs to detention and security locking systems, and handle and dispose of construction brooms and materials.
• Operate a manual key coding/cutting machine, log keys issued and returned, and maintain the key database system.
• Assist with building maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, or other essential building functions.
• Be available for on‑call assignments, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain the standards, culture, and values of CML Security, and perform any other duties as assigned or required by the Service Manager or Coordinator.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of related experience preferred.
• Welding experience preferred, and alarm technology, intrusion systems, CCTV, door access control, and data cable installation experience also preferred.

• 2nd shift Monday–Friday 7:00 pm–3:30 am.
• 3rd shift Saturday–Wednesday 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
• 4th shift Saturday–Wednesday 7:00 pm–3:00 am.

70% in‑state, 30% out‑of‑state.
