As a utility pole restoration foreperson, you'll lead a crew of field workers in providing a wide variety of reinforcement and restoration solutions, including steel reinforcement and composite restoration.
DescriptionWe provide paid on-the-job training, hotel accommodations, per-diem, performance incentives, and transportation from the starting point to remote locations. PPE is provided, including hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, and work gloves. You’ll be required to provide acceptable work wear and good work boots with a hard toe.

A $500 sign‑on bonus is paid within the first 30 days of employment to applicants with at least 1 year of pole restoration experience.
Job TypeFull‑time (non‑exempt).
Pay- $23.00–$24.00 per hour while on‑the‑job training.
- After on‑the‑job training, pay increases to $24.00–$30.00 based on experience and performance.
- Starting at $27.00–$30.00 per hour for a minimum of 18 months experience in the pole inspection industry.

- Hiring, training, managing, and supervising a crew of 1 to 5 people.
- Operate restoration equipment.
- Conduct class upgrades for overloaded poles (pole reclassification).
- Use pole‑loading software to determine actual load conditions of in‑service poles.
- Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals.
- Collect field data and maintain daily and weekly reports.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Computer and smartphone literate.
- Ability to read maps and navigate in congested areas.
- Independently manage time and workload to meet deadlines.
- Mechanically inclined and experienced with a variety of tools.
- Willingly work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Minimum 40‑hour work week with Saturdays considered inclement weather make‑up days.
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

License & Certifications- Driver's license required. Must have a clean driving record, free of major moving violations within the last three years.
Willing to travel locally, statewide, and regionally as needed. Overnight stays will be necessary (paid hotel accommodations and per‑diem).
Physical Requirements- RARE (less than 10%): squatting, depth‑perception, color vision, crawling, pushing, pulling, seeing distant, climbing ladders, balancing, gripping.
- OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): stooping, kneeling, squatting, body‑twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting up to 10 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing stairs, carrying, reaching.
- FREQUENT (up to 66%): standing, walking, sitting.
- CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): seeing, reading, hearing‑speech‑range, speaking clearly.
Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance and coordination of equipment and tools, maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, wear personal protective equipment as necessary, and be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day.
They must also be capable of performing job duties throughout an 8‑ or 10‑hour day and communicate effectively with others.
