$16.50 – $16.50 hourly

• Greets, seats, and services guests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Takes and delivers orders, suggestsively sells, and receives payment
• Assists guests with seating arrangements and ensures timely delivery of food and beverages
• Accurately enters orders on the point of sale system
• Preps beverage orders and some appetizers, salads and desserts
• Checks prepared orders for completeness and presentation
• Delivers food and beverage orders timely in accordance with standards
• Attends to guests during the entire dining experience promptly and courteously
• Demonstrates knowledge of station and floor breakdowns
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service area
• Completes all required side‑work, including deep cleaning assignments
• Adheres to Denny’s Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

• Effective communication in English, both oral and written
• Pass all required tests and training requirements
• Team environment; flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends
• Excellent guest service skills
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions
• Respect diversity and show respect for others
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; carry up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
• Mobility to move and operate in the work area; stand and walk 4–8 hour shift
• Good hearing in a loud environment
• Meet state/county/municipal health risk regulations
• Operate point of sale system
• Work safely around hazardous chemicals
