We are seeking both new grad and seasoned CRNAs to practice in our high-volume hospital in Bakersfield, CA.

Bakersfield is known for its small town feel and affordable cost of living. It is within a couple of hours from many other exciting California ventures. In a 45-minute drive, you can be in the Sequoia National Forest. Within a 2 ½ hour drive, you can ski at Mountain High Resort, sip wine in Paso Robles, lay on one of the many the beaches on the coast or camp in beautiful Yosemite.

Don’t want to drive? In the backyard of Bakersfield are many mountains, lakes and parks, offering hiking, fishing and camping. Bakersfield is also the home to a vibrant arts scene, including museums, galleries, theaters, and downtown. Most importantly, Bakersfield is a very family-friendly community with excellent schools, parks, and recreational facilities.

Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is a busy hospital that provides a wide variety of services to its patients, including but not limited to high-risk OB, neurology, cath lab, vascular and fast-paced orthopedics. We are looking for a CRNA who is interested in keeping up their skills or learning new ones. If case variety is what you are looking for, then this job is for you!

Provide anesthesia care in a busy, high-volume hospital setting with diverse cases, including high-risk obstetrics, neurology, cath lab, vascular, and fast-paced orthopedics. Maintain and expand clinical skills and contribute to a collaborative anesthesia team.

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current California state nurse anesthetist license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
