RN – Emergency Room
Job Description:The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides fast, high-quality care to patients experiencing urgent and critical health issues. The RN assesses, stabilizes, and treats patients while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform rapid assessments and triage of patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Assist with procedures and support physicians in the ER.
- Document all care accurately according to hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and emergency protocols at all times.
- Active RN license in the state of assignment.
- ER or acute care experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, and crisis-management skills.
