• Required certifications: BLS ,ACLS(American Heart Association only) NIHSS

• Valid driver’s license, RN CAHRGE NURSE Skill checklist.

• Two supervisor or manager references from the past year
Shift &

Contract:

• Night shift, 3 x 12

• Every other weekend (EOW)

• 16-week contract
Traveler Requirement:

• To qualify as a traveler, the address on the driver’s license must be at least 50 miles from the facility location:
Bakersfield, CA, 93301

• Unit Type : ER (Emergency Room)
This is a Nurse Shift Manager position. Traveler must have strong Charge RN experience, or management experience. Nurse Shift Managers (NSMs) will take patients and provide direct patient care when necessary. While the Charge Nurse is typically the first to take on patient assignments, NSMs will also fulfill the Charge Nurse role and manage the department. They are expected to assist with patient care as needed, including triaging ambulance patients, starting IVs, and administering medications, etc.

Essentially, NSMs will provide support wherever it is required within the department."
