Lab Technician 1 – Overview

Join Pace® Labs as a Lab Technician 1. You will work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM in our environmental testing laboratory’s sample preparation department. This role supports essential science that improves health and safety for the community.

• Support all laboratory sample‑related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental laboratory support policies, programs and practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remaining standing for long periods while conducting tests, working around strong smells, and wearing personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves – all PPE is provided).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.

Bakersfield, CA – $5,408.58 to $7,642.19 per month.
