Workers' Compensation Associate - Yrulegui & Roberts; Bakersfield

Yrulegui & Roberts, a Fresno-based workers' compensation defense law firm, is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated associate with a strong work ethic. Candidate must be based in California. We require 0-5 years of experience in workers' compensation defense and/or employment law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. • Represent clients in legal proceedings such as hearings, trials, and depositions
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice and support to clients
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Prepare and present oral arguments in court
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to develop case strategies

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $90,000 - $175,000 per year
