Key Responsibilities Provide risk-based, business-oriented legal advice on data protection, AI, and cybersecurity issues across the US and Americas Develop and implement privacy and data protection compliance programs in line with US federal and state regulations Collaborate with various teams to integrate privacy and security considerations into product development and technical architecture
Required Qualifications U.S. legal qualification and active license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction 8 years of experience in an in-house legal department or private practice focused on technology, data, and privacy issues Strong knowledge of US federal and state privacy laws and their intersection with financial services regulation Experience advising on emerging AI legal requirements and governance best practices Proven ability to work with technical teams to translate legal requirements into practical solutions
